Randi’s a special challenge, see.  Greatly involved in SuicideGirls, she’s been photographed a whole shit ton, lots of photographers, lots of different styles.
So that’s something to work against.
But those photos also almost always tend to be nude, which actually makes things a bit easier for me.  I tend to view nudity as a distraction in photos, my feeling these days is that it’s easier to shoot a nude, that, like a Polaroid frame around your photos, using nudity in your work guarantees a certain amount of attention.  Bit of a shortcut.  There are gonna be people who dig it just because there’s nudity, regardless of quality.
Much more interesting to me, with Randi, is getting something interesting, involving, without using nudity, by putting her in what is, in a way, a less comfortable kind of shoot, if only because she’s dressed.
Though, Randi’s always comfortable, it’s one of the reasons I really dig shooting her. She’s quickly comfortable and gets a real kick out of being involved in photography, which is pretty much exactly what I need from the lady I’m shooting.

DOUBLE TRUE
