Alan Warner’s novels:
Morvern Callar (1995)
These Demented Lands (1997)
The Sopranos (1998)
- The Man Who Walks (2002)
The Worms Can Carry Me To Heaven (2006)
- The Stars in the Bright Sky (2010)
I’ve read
these ones. The last three were never published in the US but are available through amazon.co.uk, which was pretty exciting to discover as I didn’t know until a year ago that he’d kept writing.
Morvern Callar is one of the best novels ever, and
the Sopranos taught me more about writing than can reasonably be expected of a novel.
The Worms Can Carry Me To Heaven is a fair departure from the first three, but once I warmed up to it I promptly fell in love with it.
He’s quite good and I recommend his work, is what I’m saying.
